Opening times: 10.30am - 4.30pm (last entry 4.00pm)

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5th February 2020 until 27th March: 11.00am - 3.30pm (last entry 3.00pm)
Open every day 10.30am - 4.30pm (last entry 4.00pm)

Museum opening days and hours will change after this season ends on Sunday 25th October at 4.30pm (for details see below).

Wednesday 28th October 2020 until Friday 27th November 2020 open Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 11.00am - 3.30pm

Closed December and January

Wednesday 3rd February 2021 until Friday 26th March open Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 11.00am -3.30pm

Wednesday 31st March 2021- until Sunday 31st October 2021 open every day, 10.30am - 4.30pm

Admission Charges for 2022

Museum, Gardens & Cafe

Adults - £5.00
Child - £3.00
Senior - £4.00
Family (parents and children up to 16yrs) - £10.00

There is also a 20% discount on all above charges for parties of 8 and over.

External Exhibits, Gardens & Cafe

All Adults - 50 pence
Children (up to 16yrs) - free.

Membership means free entry to the museum, including all special event days.

Crafts Day – Sunday 12th June, 12.30 – 3.30
Motorcycle Day – Sunday 26th June, 12.00 – 3.30
Children’s Day – Sunday 24h July, 12.30 – 3.30
Tractor Day – Sunday 7th August, 12.30 – 3.30

  • Genealogy and Archaeology talks on Wednesdays.
  • Talks on various aspects of Arran, fortnightly Tuesdays, commencing 2.30 PM and starting on 12th April.
  • The Spinners and Weavers group demonstrating their skills, Thursdays in July and August.
  • Wee Mac Children’s Book Festival on 9th and 10th September.
