An exhibition of classic, modern and off-road motorcycles and other interesting vehicles.
In 2014 the event was the biggest so far both in terms of the mumber of exhibited bikes and the amount of space made available. The members of the Scotish branch of the AJS and Matchless Owners Club were joined by other dedicated bikers, including the Arran Motorcross Club and other locals, in displaying their bikes in immaculate condition to an interested and admiring audience.
The event was not restricted to motorbikes. The enthusiastic crowd could also admire an E Type Jaguar, an ex French army jeep, a collection of large working model aircraft and a model steam traction engine.
The event was wonderfully framed by lots of other performances. Marvin Elliot our gifted local sculptor was around to enthuse the audience with his brilliant wood carving skills.
The Isle of Arran Pipe Band was another attraction and was very well received by the visitors. Last but not least the local singing group Fish `n Ships were entertaining throughout the afternoon with their sea shanties.
The grounds of the Arran Hertiage Museum offer both the memorable ambience and the outstanding food to go with such an event. The visitors enjoyed the BBQ and all the delicious home made food available in the Cafe Rosaburn.
All usual exhibits can be visited, our Museum Shop is open.
Everybody is looking forward to the next Motorcycle Show – come and join us!
