Access to Arran
-
The Isle of Arran lies in the Firth of Clyde, on the south west
coast of Scotland. A ferry sails from the port of Ardrossan, the journey
taking 55 minutes. Details of sailings and the cost for passengers and
cars can be obtained from the ferry operators
Caledonian MacBrayne
We are confident that a visit to the Isle of Arran Heritage Museum
will be enjoyed by young and old alike, so why not come along and see
us.
So
many things in the past have been all but forgotten, both in their being
and meaning. Mostly, they are simple things but, in their time, many
were of more importance in the lives of our forefathers than the major
events of recorded history.
